Rosemount High School embarks upon Holocaust project

Grade 11 students from Rosemount High School have embarked upon a sensitization program called “History and the Holocaust.”

This  program was initiated by Vince Lacroce, Spiritual Community Animator, along with History Teacher Alessio Giancola. Teachers and staff members will be providing their students with educational reading and video materials about the travesties of World War II. The sensitization program was culminated by a visit to the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre on February 14 and a testimonial from a Holocaust survivor is scheduled for April 2.

About the Project

The objective of the ENSB Holocaust Education Program is to sensitize students and staff to the history of the Holocaust and acts of Antisemitism via special guests, lectures and visits to the Montreal Holocaust Museum and different exhibits and programming in the community.
