EMSB launches Holocaust Education Program Podcast

Montreal, September 9, 2022–  The English Montreal School Board is proud to announce the launch of a new podcast for its Holocaust Education Program, supported from a  Nova grant by the Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal.

Noted Montreal broadcaster Mark Bergman, the grandson of Holocaust survivors, is co-hosting the podcast with  Secondary III Westmount High School student Eliane Goldstein. Two years ago she started her own podcast called The Effect On Us, for which she interviews Holocaust survivors.

In the first EMSB podcast, Mark and Eliane speak with Monique McLeod of the Monteal Holocaust Museum and Danika Swanson, EMSB Consultant for Spiritual, Religious & Moral Education to preview plans for the program this academic year.
